Day 1:
Early morning you will be pick up from a city hotel by your driver/guide who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for a flight to Amboseli National Park (Air Kenya Airlines) departing Wilson airport at 07:30hrs, arriving at Amboseli airstrip at 08:05hrs, met at the airstrip by the lodge driver/guide who will transfer you en-route game drive to the Lodge for check in and lunch.
Afternoon game drive from 15:30hrs -18:30hrs. (Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest – whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals in their native juggle residence. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/Similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp..
Day 2:
Early morning game-drive in 4×4 lodge vehicle(s) before breakfast. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Morning game-drive for those who wish starts at 10:00hrs till midday. Afternoon game-drive follows and thereafter dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge, similar Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 3:
After breakfast, transfer to Amboseli airstrip for your flight to Samburu National Reserve via Wilson Airport departing at 08:20hrs, arriving at Wilson Airport at 09:00hrs and then transfer to the flight departing Wilson at 09:15hrs / 11:00hrs arriving at Samburu airstrip at 10:30hrs / 12:30hrs, to be met by your driver /guide En-route game drive to the Samburu Sopa Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge, similar Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 4:
2 game drives, early morning and late afternoon, lunch at the Amboseli Serena Lodge/similar/Luxury Tented Luxury Camp and an afternoon spent at leisure. The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river, on the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya. It is 350 kilometers away from Nairobi and ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five). You will have an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge/ Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 5:
After breakfast, transfer to Samburu airstrip for a flight to Masai Mara ,departing Samburu at 08:30hrs arriving Keekorok Airstrip at 10:15hrs, to be met by the Lodge driver/guide who will transfer you with en-route game drive to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive follows later, and dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge Lodge/similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 6:
2 game drives per day, early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:00hrs to 08:30hrs and the other one from 15:30hrs to 18:30hrs. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 7:
2 game drives per day, early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:00hrs to 08:30hrs and the other one from 15:30hrs to 18:30hrs. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 8:
Enjoy a last early morning game drive with a chance to see the big cats hunting, return back to the hotel for breakfast before checking out and heading back to Nairobi, stop along the way at a local restaurant for a delicious local meal, proceed to Nairobi, the driver guide will drop you off at the airport or at your hotel.
